They say that in the entertainment industry, it is important to keep your friends close. And it seems that Bollywood veteran Jackie Shroff follows this saying to the 'T'.

We can say so for the fact that Jackie has shifted from his last residential address to be his dear friend Aamir Khan's neighbour. Jackie is renting an apartment on the ninth floor in the same building as Aamir, who occupies the top two floors.

It was rumored that he has bought the flat but reliable sources confirm that currently flats in the building were only available for rent and are not on sale. Jackie too confirmed the good news that he has shifted his base.

"Yes, we have leased out the place and are already living here," he said. When asked why he suddenly chose to shift from his last residential address and Jackie cites the reason, "I had come to Aamir's house for a party and I really loved the building. The place has a great vibe," he added. 

Apart from the great vibe, we assume to have dear friend Aamir as a neighbor is also an added advantage. It is a known fact that Jackie and Aamir go back a long way.

The two share a very warm relationship and are thick friends. It was recently yet again proved when Aamir decided to mentor Jackie's son Tiger Shroff who made his debut with the recently released 'Heropanti'.
