Lindsay Lohan: I want end to legal issues

31st October 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Lindsay Lohan is ready to restart her career, it is reported.

The 25-year-old actress has been mired in one legal issue after another over the past few years but is said to be anxious to put her legal problems in the past.

The Mean Girls star is due before Judge Stephanie Sautner on Wednesday for her probation violation hearing.

She will find out then if she violated the terms of her probation when she failed to turn up several times to the Downtown Women's Center in Los Angeles as part of her court-mandated community service.

Her work at the homeless shelter was part of her punishment after she pleaded no contest in a jewellery theft case earlier this year.

But her representative Steve Honig told RadarOnline that the troubled starlet wants to be back in the spotlight for better reasons.

"Lindsay recognises it's time to have closure on this," he said. "Lindsay has several projects we will be announcing in the coming months and she is looking forward to being back on set."

Lindsay was ordered to work 16 hours a week at the morgue until she faces Judge Sautner again.

"Lindsay has been doing eight hour shifts just like everybody else, and she is working diligently in fulfilling her obligations," Steve added. "Lindsay is being accountable and is taking this very, very seriously.

The actress could face up to 18 months in jail if she is found to have violated her probation. (C) Cover Media
