Shahid Kapoor's last film 'Mausam' tanked at box office leaving an irreplaceable void in his career. The actor was heavily banking on it as he had given the film two precious years of his career and life. Amidst all this he neither signed any other film nor commenced talk over any other project. 

In his recent statement where he revealed to the world that he is unemployed made ripples in the industry. 

However, now that he is gearing for the release of his film 'Teri Meri Kahaani' he is back again in the scheme of things.

Shahid exclaimed that the statement was not meant to be taken in the way it was, as he just meant that his few films were postponed for some or the other reasons, however thankfully he always had films on hand. "After Mausam, I decided to do three films in a year. I completed 'Teri Meri Kahaani' and found out that my director Maneesh Sharma has broken his back. So now, that film will go on floors only in July - August. I realized I was unemployed. But the good part is that I have met a lot of people and am lining up my next projects," said Shahid. 

He also spoke about his forthcoming films, "There's two - Yash Raj Films project to be directed by Maneesh Sharma and one with Bejoy Nambiar," added Shahid. 

He also revealed to us that talks with Prabhu Deva and Siddharth Anand for a few action flicks are in progress too.
