(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Taylor Swift has revealed details about her new album Red.
The country singer will release the 16-track album in October. Taylor says the title was inspired by one of the songs she wrote on the album which shares the same title.
The 22-year-old revealed the colour red evokes lots of powerful feelings for her and reminds her of passionate relationships she has experienced in the past.
"I wrote a song called Red, and thinking about what that means to me and all the different emotions that are written about in this album," Taylor told USA Today.
"Crazy, intense, semi-toxic relationships that I've experienced in the past two years. In my mind, all of those emotions are red."
The blonde beauty is currently dating Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s son Conor, 18. She has reportedly been "swept off her feet" by the teenager, but Taylor admits she has suffered from heartbreak in the past. Despite being hurt before, Taylor says she is still someone who enjoys the idea of love. The singer uses her failed romances as a source for thinking up her lyrics for new songs, some of which can be heard on Red.
"I tend to kind of skew in the direction of writing songs about love...that's kind of where I naturally go. These songs are about really dysfunctional and not good generally relationships," Taylor revealed. "There's a really, really romantic song to my lovely ex-boyfriend. It's called We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.'" (C) Cover Media
