The Tollywood producer D. S. Rao has denied media reports which claimed that the leading Bollywood production house 'Red Chillies Entertainment' has issued a notice to him for using the title 'Chammak Challo', which is a popular song from the movie 'Ra. One'.

Remember Varun Sandesh starrer 'Chammak Challo', directed by the National Award winner Neelakantha is the forthcoming production venture of the producer.

"We haven’t received any notice from Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies or anyone associated to the company. These are baseless rumours. Also Chammak Challo means 'nerajana' in Telugu, so no case of plagiarism there." said the producer.

Srinivas Avasarala plays a key role in the movie, Chinmayi, Brahmaji, Surekha Vani and Sayaji Shinde are also seen in other roles. The music is by Kiran Varanasi and the lyrics are by Anantha Sriram. The editing is by Nagi Reddy, art by Babjee and the cinematography is by Ranganath Gogineni.
